Gaia’s Christmas Visit
My only wish.
It was midnight. Some nights before Christmas. Gaia came visiting. And she carried something. A present. It was neatly wrapped. And it changed color, size, and moved as she approached me.
“Merry Christmas.” I heard her say.
“What is it?” I asked. Pointing to the still any-moment-transforming gift in her arms.
“It is for you.” She answered, “and it is indecisive of how it wants to be.”
“Why?” I wondered.
“Because you are indecisive.” She replied.
“About what?” This was a question, that made her think silently a moment.
After a while she looked me deeply in the eyes, asking: “What is it you wish for, child? If you had one wish, what would it be?”
“I wish,” I answered in clarity, “that I am allowed to be me, any moment of my life. Nothing else.”
She smiled. “Interesting,” she replied, “this I heard from many.”
“Is it possible then?” I was curious.
“Well, child,” Gaia said, “it acquires some important tasks from your side, it takes intention, concentration, letting go, reconciliation, imagination, celebration, focus, discipline, trust, and love. Are you willing to cultivate them? Then your wish will become…
