Letter from Honesty.
Hi. My name is Honesty.
That is about all, I want to tell you about myself. To speak the truth: I am not sure, what else I could write to you describing myself, dear human friend, because I am not sure, if you believe in any word I say, maybe even my name sounds like a lie to you.
You might wonder, why I say this to you. Let me explain. I honestly believe that you, human friend, emanate from yourself onto others — you call it projection. Which means in the case of me, the Honesty, that if you are not honest to yourself, you do not trust others about being honest to you as well.
Here we are in a world of lies. What about you? Are you honest or do you actually lie to yourself or others? Just a little or rather a lot more than that? Do you sometimes decide to speak sweet rather than true? And if you lied once, what happens then. Do you effectively realise that you lie or does it seem as if you are being honest? Is a chain of reactions occurring from that dishonesty, which might be the next lie?
“Speak truth. Speak sweet.” A Saying of the ancient Vedic tradition, the Upanishads, tells us. This means, that you shall be truthful and express that truth in nice words — or at least with a loving and kind mind-set.
