The Rising of the Condor
Balancing the Feminine with the Masculine
According to an ancient parable of the Amazon, it is said that 500 years ago, long before the arrival of the first Europeans in what we call America by today, the time was one of union. A union between the Indigenous Peoples of the north and the south on our beautiful planet, the time of the Condor and the Eagle flying together. The Condor represented the Indigenous Peoples of the south, and the Eagle represented the Indigenous Peoples of the north. The Peoples lived in harmony with each other and with nature.
The condor and eagle qualities — now also known as feminine and masculine — complemented each other well. All living things, from the smallest cell up to the creator of all beings were included as stakeholders in a collective, mutual and abundant life for all.
The masculine qualities in balance, support us to stay focused, to plan, and to stay on our paths diligently. They stand for stability, decisiveness, confidence, and structure.
The feminine qualities are representing compassion, creativity, gentleness, and humility and are of nurturing, intuitive, patient, and faithful notion.
Both of them in a balance let us live beautifully in a humble and diligent way on a joyful path which allows us to let go of control and at the same time stay focused. It…
