What´s so special about Autism…
…or why Autism is as normal as Being Human.
“Me too” is what I often hear these days. “I have autistic characteristics as well.” This is what friends and clients say ever so often to explain their thoughts, their words or their behaviour.
Why is that?
We know a lot about autism nowadays, at least, because Greta made us aware about it. And what we assumed to be a mental disorder not long ago, now is considered to be a special gift.
As we, each individually want to stand out from the crowd, be different, we strive to be higher developed than others — not only living beings, but also fellow human beings — around us.
In these means, we found that speciality — in autism or at least in autistic characteristics as in the Asperger Syndrome.
Autism is the new level of high intelligence or high sensitivity. Autistic symptoms are the new term for “I am special” or “I am different”.
History tells us about many well-known human beings, who probably have had Autism. To name but a few, the brilliant evolutionist Charles Darwin, the perfectionist movie director Stanley Kubrick, the outstanding not only philosopher Sir Isaac Newton, the beautifully inspiring actress Marilyn Monroe, the highly focussed world chess champion Bobby Fisher, the former…
